tumblr_o2l8r1Qjfg1qhgst7o1_1280

The translated guide to “Osomatsu-san Money Wars ~When NEETS Attack~” (Note: This is my liberal translation of the title) behind the cut. Please be aware that it is very image and text heavy.

If someone would like to set up a wiki page for the guide, you have my permission in advance to use my translation and images, but please contact me and I will link it on this page.

After tons of maintenance and bad servers, it appears that the game is finally on board! For those who pre-registered, the rare Matsu is Totoko wearing a pink Matsu hoodie dress.

Latest game version: 1.2.2 (Android), 1.1.2 (iOS)

How to ignore region lock and download this game:
(a) For Android users:
(1) The first and easiest method would be to download through QooApp, which you can obtain from here: http://apps.qoo-app.com/
(2) You can download directly from the Japanese Google Play Store by Google-ing how to download from there using VPN. From then on, you can install updates through the Play Store.
(3) As a last resort, you can also find the APK from APKpure and install.

(b) For iOS users: Download from here
You will need to make a Japanese account in order to access the Japanese ITunes store. I like to recommend this tutorial, or you can look up on Google for other tutorials.

Every time you open the game, what will pop up first is the Announcements (お知らせ) page. This page tells you if maintenance was done and whatnot. If you choose to not have this page appear for the day, you can check the “Don’t show today” (今日は表示しない) box on the bottom right.

When you exit out of Announcements, you’ll see this page.
tumblr_inline_o2kkj9eFmp1qgcmu7_500

You will see the game version and your ID # at the top left. Don’t show your ID # to anyone, it is a number that identifies you and your game data. If your game version is not the latest one, there will be a popup that tells you to exit the game and upgrade, before forcing you out of the game.
Press the red START button at the bottom to begin.

tumblr_inline_o2kkmjHDYB1qgcmu7_500
First-time users will have to agree to a User Policy that appears at the main page. It will say おそ松さんのへそくりウォーズ~ニートの攻防~利用規約 on top. Click Yes to agree.

For first-time users, the beginning dialogue of the game goes like this:
Stage 1-10: TOKYO

OSOMATSU: “Uggghh, I have no money! Not even one cent! But I don’t wanna work!”
CHOROMATSU: “Honestly! This is why you’re such a bum, Osomatsu-niisan… Well, it’s not like I wanna work either though.”
ICHIMATSU: “Working is a pain… Trash should act like trash…”
TODOMATSU: “Never mind that~ Why don’t we approach some girls and have them treat us?”
JYUSHIMATSU: “They’re gonna treat us?! Thank you super large home run!”
KARAMATSU: “Heh, it doesn’t matter if we’re penniless. As long as we’re happy, it’s no proble–”
OSOMATSU: “Hey, I know! Let’s go on a journey to grab everyone’s secret stash!”
OSOMATSU: “If we get 1 yen from one hundred million people, we’ll have one hundred million yen!”
KARAMATSU: “Eh…”
OSOMATSU: “We’re off on a journey to grab secret money stashes! Tap on my icon on the map to begin battle!”

Osomatsu will walk you through the tutorial, which I will write in my own words from here. You can see it in the “HOW TO PLAY” section.

As you go to higher stages, you get small commentary from the characters, as follows:
Stage 11-20: OSAKA
KARAMATSU: “Heh, we’ve conquered Tokyo… That was easy. Next is Osaka, is it? Just wait for me! Osaka’s Karamatsu Girls!”
Stage 21-30: HOKKAIDO
JYUSHIMATSU: “Next is Hokkaaaaidooooo! Sea urchins! Salted salmon roe! Scallops!”
Stage 31-40: OKINAWA
CHOROMATSU: “Yaaaaaay! It’s Okinawaaaaa! Blue sky! Blue waters! This feels great~! Nankurunaisa~!” (*Nankurunaisa is the Okinawa expression of “Whatever will be, will be.”)
Stage 41-50: EGYPT
TODOMATSU: “Hey, wait a sec! We’re even going overseas?! And to Egypt?! Ehhh?!”
(Before levels 51-100 were added)
ICHIMATSU: “Egypt is so hot… I wanna go home. I see something that lies ahead next, but looks like we can’t go there for a while.”
Stage 51-60: AMERICA
ICHIMATSU: “America…? What a pain in the ass… Can I go home first?”
Stage 61-70: OCEAN BOTTOM
JYUSHIMATSU: “We’ve come to the bottom of the ocean! Octopus! Jellyfish! Sunken ships!”
Stage 71-80: OUTER SPACE
TODOMATSU: “Where are we?! Why are we in outer space?! Ah, there’s oxygen. Lucky!”
Stage 81-90: JURASSIC PERIOD
KARAMATSU: “I am a man who even transcends time. I don’t choose the era where I live.”
Stage 91-100: FUTURE
CHOROMATSU: “We came from the past into the future?! How did we even do that without a time machine?! Does anything just go in this game?!”
END
ICHIMATSU: “I’m so freaking tired… We can finally go home… I wonder how the cats are doing.”

HOW TO PLAY

This is the screen you will see every time.
tumblr_inline_o2kkvn4kuw1qgcmu7_500

Clicking on a battle point will bring you this popup.
tumblr_inline_o2kkqjqRMR1qgcmu7_500

Going into a battle will take away some of your endurance. If you have items at hand, feel free to use them for more difficult battles.

tumblr_inline_o2kn8bwFwR1qgcmu7_500
For the battle, you will have an AP button on the bottom right,
your team of 10 characters,
and the Mega-NEET cannon button on the bottom left.
At the top right is the amount of AP you are charging now/ the max # of AP.

You can press the AP button to increase your max # of AP. This will allow you to use characters that require a higher amount of AP. Your characters can be used if you have the right amount of AP available, and they recharge with each use. (The staff has said that AP does not stand for “Attack Point” or “Action Point,” but for “Akatsuka Point.”)

The Mega-NEET cannon button is a rainbow-colored NEET aura that emits from the Matsuno household. Only enemies that are within the cut-off mark on the field can be hit by this NEET aura and thrown backwards. The Mega-NEET cannon also recharges with each use.

If you win a battle, it records your time and gives you a certain number of coins based on your time. You also have the option of watching a video ad in exchange for receiving 500 coins. (Small button at the bottom right)

Screenshot_2016-05-11-20-17-13
If you lose a battle, you will receive this popup to continue.

tumblr_inline_o2knjbjQm71qgcmu7_500
You are given the option of re-trying by either using 10 diamonds, or watching a video ad.
If you use 10 diamonds, the Matsuno household will be fully recovered, you keep your current AP level, your AP is filled to max, and your Mega-NEET cannon is also filled to max.
If you watch a video ad, the Matsuno household will be fully recovered. After you watch the video, you will get a popup that says you can now replay the battle over again. (There is a possibility that this option will not be available if you’ve watched all available ads.)

Your endurance that’s needed for battle recovers 1 point every 3 minutes.

When you pause in the middle of a battle and have to screen out for whatever reason, you are able to return to it because the game automatically saves your data on your phone. You usually get a popup that looks like this:
tumblr_inline_o2o8iwYkAL1qgcmu7_500
“There is paused data. Would you like to resume battle from this paused data?”
YES — NO

However, I can’t guarantee that you will be able to resume all the time, so I recommend that you try not to accidentally log out in the middle of battle, if you can.

If you want to play a battle but get a popup instead of going directly into it, the popup is asking if you want to exchange 30 diamonds to restore your endurance in full. Be careful and check how much endurance you have before going further, if you do not want to pay diamonds.

THE LIST OF CHARACTERS YOU OBTAIN

(?? for characters that I do not own and thus cannot read their descriptions. If you have these characters and would like to share screenshots for me to fill in this info, please do! — Thank you to the people who’ve helped so far!)

While you get the initial versions of Osomatsu, Karamatsu, and Choromatsu for free, you will need to use the gatcha to get remaining characters and versions.

Osomatsu: A multi-type with good balance. He has comparatively low AP, so can be summoned to attack many times.
Karamatsu: He has high HP and is sturdy against attack. Even if the enemy attacks, he protects by using his body as a shield. He charms several opponents at once.
Choromatsu: His attack power is a little higher, the number of times he attacks is a little greater, and he’s a little faster. However, he is easily beaten.
Ichimatsu: He can attack opponents who are far away, but because of his stooped back, he walks slowly and is also easily hit back. He can attack several opponents at once.
Jyushimatsu: He walks fast and runs immediately to the front line. The way he’s thrown backwards is over the top, but no matter how many times he’s hit, he gets right back on his feet and moves forward.
Todomatsu: He repeatedly attacks with a technique that creates high bloodshed, while keeping himself at a distance so as not to bring harm to himself. However, he dies easily. He can attack several opponents at once.
Father: While he has average speed, his offensive power is high and he attacks often. He is the reliable backbone of the family.
Mother: She has strong offensive power and can attack even from distances. When her NEETS are in trouble, she rushes forward to their aid. She can attack several opponents at once.
Hijirisawa Shounosuke: He walks fast and can attack from afar, so he has high offensive ability. His biggest defect is that he’s easily blown backwards. The perfect family heirloom!
Chibita: He walks slow, but has great offensive power and can attack several opponents at once. Teyande-baro-chikusho!
ESP Kitty: It moves slowly and cannot attack unless it is close to an opponent. However, it can damage several opponents at once. It may be a type of emotional damage?
Totoko: She can attack many opponents at once from a distance. However, she takes time to build up her power.

CHARACTER ENCYCLOPEDIA

(If you tap on them, you can see their in-game action: how they walk, how they attack, and how they’re defeated)

OSOMATSU

☆ Hoodie version: The Matsuno household’s oldest son. He grew up into a miraculous idiot, keeping the same mentality that he had in sixth grade. While he is the leader of the sextuplets and is often the one who instigates them, he has no sense of planning. He has an irresponsible and overall sloppy attitude.
☆☆ Gray Hoodie version: Osomatsu wearing a rare-to-see gray hoodie. He crouches before slicing upwards with a upper cut, like a rising dragon.
☆☆☆ Jumpsuit version: Osomatsu’s jumpsuit version. He swings his body around like a hurricane and unleashes a roundhouse kick.
☆☆☆ Tracksuit version: Osomatsu dressed in a tracksuit made for easy movement and prepared for battle. The bloody iron pipe that he carries speaks volumes of the severe battles that he has so far faced.
☆☆☆ Bath version: Osomatsu in bath-house style. He throws a chair like a Greek statue throwing a discus. Huh? Isn’t that chair…?
☆☆☆☆ Macaron version: Osomatsu sitting on a macaron. When it’s time for him to attack, he dresses into a golden macaron and strikes with fists that act like shooting stars.
☆☆☆ White Day version: Osomatsu dressed in a white tailcoat. He carries a giant teddy bear as a present. When he attacks, he swings the teddy bear towards his target, unable to help himself. Even though it’s a present…
☆☆☆☆ Unused Osomatsu: “I photobomb behind other people’s selfies butt-naked! Unused Osomatsu!” A hero from the lowest of low super-shitty-hellish-dark-underworld-of-shit caste. He attacks with an Osoball that has a bomb inside.
☆☆☆ Normie Slug Osogeruge: The transformed appearance of Osomatsu packed with jealousy. A harmful beast who eats up happy people with fulfilling lives.
☆☆☆☆ Calming Detective version: He’s investigated over 2,000 murder cases, but hasn’t solved a single one of them. Calming Detective Osomatsu’s belief is that he must ease the tense atmosphere of the crime scene. He is 5,000,000 yen in debt and gets allowance from his parents.
☆☆☆ Hero version: Osomatsu who is a hero in the RPG world. As is the nature of a hero, he rummages through vases lying around or inside the drawers of other peoples’ houses.
☆☆☆☆ Independent (?) version: Osomatsu who adopts a formal attitude while the rest of his brothers leave the house to live independently. Who can tell what he’s thinking from looking at that back. He kicks the overly excited Jyushimatsu without thinking.
☆☆☆☆ Children’s Day version: Osomatsu wearing an armor and helmet. The red guard that an elite martial art force was said to have worn. Will he show a fight that does not embarrass that color?!
☆☆☆ Animal Pajama version: Osomatsu wearing panda pajamas. The sign that he holds in his hands say “Beware of Pandas.” If it’s a cute panda, then I welcome him with open arms.
☆☆☆ Pachinko Police version: To arrest brothers who have won at pachinko is the job of the Pachinko Police. Osomatsu gives off a warning shot in the air, then with that momentum, throws his gun at his target.
☆☆☆☆ Kimono version: Osomatsu in a kimono, from “Favematsu Quiz Battle.” He attacks his opponent with a handheld firework erupting towards them. Good children, don’t copy him.
☆☆☆ Phantom Thief version: Red from the Phantom Thief Troupe, aka Osomatsu. His stick and twirly mustache are his trademark. He has a specialty in disguise, and perfectly copies his target’s gestures and jokes.
☆☆☆ Blue suit version: Osomatsu wearing a familiar blue suit. He crouches before slicing upwards with a upper cut, like a rising dragon.

KARAMATSU

☆ Hoodie version: The Matsuno household’s second eldest son. He is like the second-in-command among the sextuplets. Usually he acts cool and puts on airs. He also has a passionate personality that doesn’t see beyond himself. He’s a painful narcissist.
☆☆ Gray Hoodie version: Karamatsu wearing a rare-to-see gray hoodie. He poses like a sailor on top of a wharf. While we’re on the subject, the thing that he’s resting his foot on is called a bollard.
☆☆☆ Jumpsuit version: Karamatsu’s jumpsuit version. He throws off the top of his jumpsuit, showing off the tanktop underneath that has his face printed on it. It hurts~.
☆☆☆ Detective version: Karamatsu as a detective. His shotgun has a scope attached to it, for some reason, but he shoots at close range.
☆☆☆ Bath version: Karamatsu in bath-house style. He relaxes in a massage chair, and just when he’s immersed in his own world, the chair springs forward?! It hurts~!
☆☆☆☆ Macaron version: Karamatsu sitting on a macaron while playing the guitar. He takes a gulp of combustible liquid and attacks by spitting out flames.
☆☆☆ White Day version: Karamatsu dressed in a sparkly suit. He carries his present, a bouquet of roses, in his hands. Turns out that he’s naked underneath his suit… How painful~.

☆☆☆ Normie Slug Karageruge: The transformed appearance of Karamatsu packed with jealousy. A harmful beast who eats up happy people with fulfilling lives.

☆☆☆ Martial artist version: Karamatsu who has become a martial artist in the RPG world. He fights using the Drunken Fist, but it’s clear that he’s drank too much. What’s more, he goes into a drunken frenzy when mixing drinks.
☆☆☆☆ Independent version: Karamatsu free-lodging at Chibita’s apartment and looking earnestly for work. He shows great physical strength when stopping his older brother’s rampage with a fist.
☆☆☆☆ Children’s Day version: Karamatsu in a long, trailing hakama that reminds one of Matsu no Rouka. What’s more, it’s in carp streamer design made with bright glitter. I won’t let you say that you don’t recognize the Karamatsu-sama on his back.
☆☆☆ Animal Pajama version: Karamatsu wearing wolf pajamas. He lies in a bed with glittering sheets and invites you to sleep with him. So painful~
☆☆☆ Pachinko Police version: To arrest brothers who have won at pachinko is the job of the Pachinko Police. Karamatsu shoots around with double gold guns that he bought for himself. The pigeons fly off in surprise.

CHOROMATSU

☆☆ Gray Hoodie version: Choromatsu wearing a rare-to-see gray hoodie. With a giant paper fan chop, he makes a tsukkomi even to enemies who don’t boke.
☆☆☆ Jumpsuit version: Choromatsu’s jumpsuit version. He throws a yellow signboard that’s had its sign ripped off.
☆☆☆ Idol Otaku version: Choromatsu who is both an idol otaku and Totoko’s manager. In order to be a top-rank otaku like him, you’d better be able to unleash a beam from glowsticks when you’re in a pinch just like he does.
☆☆☆ Bath version: Choromatsu in bath-house style. He attacks with a master towel that he’s hardened with his energy. The towel is, naturally, one of Hashimoto Nyaa-chan’s official goods.
☆☆☆☆ Macaron version: Choromatsu hanging off a macaron. He gives off the appearance of being twirled around by it.
☆☆☆ White Day version: Choromatsu dressed in a white suit and butterfly necktie. A giant tentacle rips out from inside his present box, but, what exactly was he trying to give you…?
☆☆☆☆ Choromatsu Returning From a Live Concert version: Choromatsu on his way home from a live concert after buying a ton of idol goods. He makes jabs at the Unused Brothers’ words, but he sees normies as the enemy just like they do. His sudden encounter with Nyaa-chan causes him to die from moe.

☆☆☆ Phantom Thief version: Green from the Phantom Thief Troupe, aka Choromatsu. His glasses with a chain attached is his trademark. He tries to steal an art piece, but it appears to be cursed.
☆☆☆ Blue suit version: Choromatsu wearing a familiar blue suit. With a giant paper fan chop, he makes a tsukkomi even to enemies who don’t boke.

ICHIMATSU

☆ Hoodie version: The Matsuno household’s fourth son. He’s a cynical guy who moves at his own pace, and often spews venom with nonchalance. He hides his true feelings and adopts a bored-looking attitude. He has a constantly sloped back. Cats are his friends.
☆☆ Gray Hoodie version: Ichimatsu wearing a rare-to-see gray hoodie. His cat friends hidden (?) within his hoodie do the attacking.
☆☆☆ Jumpsuit version: Ichimatsu’s jumpsuit version. He produces a giant tiger from his back and attacks with its enormous claws.
☆☆☆ Cat version: Ichimatsu who loves cats so much that he became one himself. The whip that he uses to attack is an item that was made-to-order by Ichimatsu-sama.
☆☆☆ Bath version: Ichimatsu in bath-house style. Apparently he’s brought a faucet shaped as a lion’s mouth with him. Sure, it’s a cat, but you shouldn’t do that…
☆☆☆☆ Macaron version: Ichimatsu riding on a macaron. Perhaps Ichimatsu’s personality has seeped into the macaron, because it moves very slowly. When it attacks, it unleashes a dark Darkness Macaron side that is befitting of Darkness Matsu.
☆☆☆ White Day version: Ichimatsu dressed in a white suit. He suddenly lets loose with a Thompson submachine gun. Could it be a Valentine’s Day massacre, or rather, a White Day massacre?
☆☆☆☆ Unused Ichimatsu: “…I’ll kill you. Unused Ichimatsu.” A hero from the lowest of low super-shitty-hellish-dark-underworld-of-shit caste. He throws jealousy rocks at his enemies. SHIT!

☆☆☆☆ Children’s Day version: Ichimatsu running wild (?) while riding on top of a carp streamer. There appear to be cats inside the streamer. When the cats take on an attack stance, not even he can keep up with them.
☆☆☆ Animal Pajama version: Ichimatsu wearing bat pajamas. He farts in his sleep. The smellier it is, the more damage you receive.
☆☆☆ Pachinko Police version: To arrest brothers who have won at pachinko is the job of the Pachinko Police. Ichimatsu, using a whip and a candle, acts superiorly over his target as he presses them to confess.

☆☆☆ Blue suit version: Ichimatsu wearing a familiar blue suit. His cat friends hidden (?) within his hoodie do the attacking.

☆☆☆ Jumpsuit version: Jyushimatsu’s jumpsuit version. With energy great enough to rip his jumpsuit apart, he attacks with a storm of many fists. Just die!
☆☆☆ Masked Wrestler version: A Jyushimatsu who became a masked wrestler. He looks like he’s about to jump onto you, but lands in instead with a magnificent drop kick.
☆☆☆ Bath version: Jyushimatsu in bath-house style. When it comes to bath-houses, you gotta have a painting of Mount Fuji there too. He wears a Mount Fuji-shaped headdress and volcano! While we’re on the subject, this painting originally was used at “Kikai Baths” in Kanda, Tokyo, but spread to other bath-houses because it was rated so highly.
☆☆☆☆ Macaron version: Jyushimatsu who merged with his macaron to look like a turtle. The spinning attack is his specialty. Shell cutter!
☆☆☆ White Day version: Jyushimatsu dressed in a suit with white shorts. From his jack-in-the-box… I mean, from his present box, appears a tied-up Ichimatsu!
☆☆☆☆ Unused Jyushimatsu: “Shibuya is scary! Unused Jyushimatsu!” A hero from the lowest of low super-shitty-hellish-dark-underworld-of-shit caste. While swinging his bat, it flies out of his hands. He isn’t doing it on purpose, I swear.
☆☆☆ Normie Slug Jyushigeruge: The transformed appearance of Jyushimatsu packed with jealousy. A harmful beast who eats up happy people with fulfilling lives.
☆☆☆☆ Forensics Investigator version: Forensics Investigator Jyushimatsu, who is unusually serious about his work. Initially, he is irritated by Calming Osomatsu disrupting him on the job, but he is the first to be soothed.
☆☆☆ Gambler version: Jyushimatsu who has become a gambler in the RPG world. He displays a performance (?) where his face blows up and explodes, in a way that you can’t tell who is receiving the damage, the enemy or him.
☆☆☆☆ Independent version: Jyushimatsu with a part-time job. He begins to live by himself in a room that he is borrowing from Professor Dekapan. His beer act that he’s so good at is still in full effect.
☆☆☆☆ Children’s Day version: Jyushimatsu as a rice cake wrapped in an oak leaf. He breaks in half and Jyushimatsu made out of anko fly out to attack. Don’t think too deeply on it.
☆☆☆ Animal Pajama version: Jyushimatsu wearing giraffe pajamas. He prostrates himself on the ground, but hits you because of his long neck. Could it be that he’s doing it on purpose?
☆☆☆ Pachinko Police version: To arrest brothers who have won at pachinko is the job of the Pachinko Police. Police dog Jyushimatsu rotates his collar, slicing and dicing like a circular saw.
☆☆☆☆ Kimono version: Jyushimatsu in a kimono, from “Favematsu Quiz Battle.” After taking on a sumo pose, the usual Jyushimatsu pops out. No one really gets why, but that’s what happens.
☆☆☆ Phantom Thief version: Yellow from the Phantom Thief Troupe, aka Jyushimatsu. He carries the jewels he steals on his head. Rather than give his business card, he carves you with his name as he attacks with his rapier.
☆☆☆ Blue suit version: Jyushimatsu wearing a familiar blue suit. Hurricane attack spiral!

TODOMATSU

☆ Hoodie version: The Matsuno household’s youngest son. He’s good at letting others pamper him, as well as being social. He can be quite feminine and knows just how cute he is. But he’s a black-hearted dry monster on the inside. His nickname is Totty.

☆☆☆☆ Macaron version: Todomatsu lying on his stomach on top of a macaron. He has an unruffled face, but there are innumerable small arms packed inside his macaron. He’s dark.
☆☆☆ White Day version: Todomatsu dressed in a fancy suit. He lets his hat fly with a magnificent pose, but the brim of his hat turns out to be a cutter. There’s a reason why he’s called the dark one.

What is the rare Gold Oden?
When you get the same character in gatcha, their max level increases. You will see this defined, not only by a higher max level, but also by a “+” at the end of their character name. The greatest they can go up to is +10. When you reach +10, you will receive a rare Gold Oden.

Rare characters: 2000 Oden
Abnormal characters: 40 Oden
Normal characters: 1 Oden

Currently the staff does not have anything prepared yet, but in the future, you will be able to exchange these rare Gold Oden for special items, so it wouldn’t hurt to collect them now while you can.

How do I get diamonds without paying?
When you log in daily, you get 10 free diamonds at the end of every five days as part of the log-in bonus. When you clear the last stage of a location for the first time, you get 10 free diamonds. Sometimes the staff will give free diamonds as part of a holiday or as an apology for extended maintenance. Unfortunately, if you want more diamonds, you will have to pay.

I want to transfer my data to another device, how do I do this?
Check out the DATA TRANSFER section below. I also recommend that you take a screenshot of the entrance page where your ID # is written on the top left, underneath the game version, as an extra precaution.

I want to start a new game, but uninstalling and reinstalling doesn’t work.
Yes, this is because your data is saved onto your phone automatically and the game accesses that, regardless of if you uninstall the app or not. However, there is a way! If you go into your device storage and delete a folder there that says “pine,” you will be able to start fresh all over again. This “pine” folder is where your game data is saved.

I want to start over because I got poor gatcha pulls.
I haven’t tested it for myself, but if deleting the “pine” folder didn’t work, then you’re probably stuck.

I can’t access beyond the Start page.
If it isn’t because of a game update or bad servers, it could be because the server has picked up that the time zone of your phone does not match with Japan time. The only way to resolve this would be to go to your phone’s Settings > Date and Time, and turn off automatic time zone settings. When you set your time zone to Japan, you should be able to access the game again.

My game crashes a lot (this is usually the case with iOS).
If uninstalling and reinstalling doesn’t work to fix a faulty download, it is possible that the servers are being bad. These bad server connections were quite common when the Android version was released, so I can only advise you to wait until the staff has performed maintenance to expect any change. This game requires a lot of patience.

It is also possible that your game is crashing because you lack enough phone storage space for the game to function. It is recommended that you have at least 500mb of free space in order for the game to play properly.

How many levels are there in HesoWars?
Currently there are 100 levels. There is always an event and sometimes a special stage (Explained below).

————————————————————————————————————————————–

SPECIAL STAGE

A special stage that is separate from the event stage.

(ENDED) Coin Harvesting Event, “Money Wars Battle.”

[ENDED] Coin Harvesting Event, “Money Wars Battle.”

Held between May 2nd to May 10th (ends at 15:00, Japan time).

Screenshot_2016-05-02-21-11-38
There are three stages: Beginner, Middle-class, and High-class.
You can also gather event points in this special stage. However, since the current event only consists of earning coins, you will not gather points for now. Earn as many coins as you can before this event ends!

————————————————————————————————————————————–

EVENT DETAILS

Events are separate from the main game. When there is an event, you must enter the SPECIAL section (or however the section on the right is named) at the Start menu in order to take part.

tumblr_inline_o3lmlbbTyU1qgcmu7_500

The layout of the SPECIAL section will be the same as the main game, except it will only have 10 stages. You also get free diamonds, coins, or items when clearing each stage for the first time.

tumblr_inline_o3lmogoaVD1qgcmu7_500

Depending on what event is held at the time, you may want to keep playing the event or choose to play in the main game. It is up to you.

(CURRENT) Detective Iyami and the Six-colored (Shitty NEET) Phantom Thief Troupe

Held between May 31st to June 17th (ends at 15:00, Japan time).
Take back the stolen art pieces! A magnificent NEET story between Detective and Phantom Thief troupe!

Screenshot_2016-05-31-19-45-49
Collect “Half of an Entry Ticket Stub” after clearing a stage. Collect 1,000 of them to make one spin in the event gatcha. Are they good? Are they evil? The Six-Colored Phantom Thief troupe!
The event gatcha can still be spun after the event ends, until June 21st (ends at 15:00).

STAGE 1:
ICHIMATSU: This is Ichimatsu… I mean, Purple. We’ve succeeded in infiltrating the art museum.
JYUSHIMATSU: Sniff… Sniff sniff sniff! I smell the treasure in that direction!
CHOROMATSU: As expected of Purple and Yellow! They’re like animals.
KARAMATSU: Heh, Green. It appears that the security is tighter up ahead.
CHOROMATSU: OK, Blue! Once we get the goods, we’ll scram out of here.
OSOMATSU: Hey, Choromatsu, let’s get going already.
CHOROMATSU: Don’t move up without looking around first, Red! …Also, I’m Green right now! Use the codenames!
CHOROMATSU: If we called each other by our real names, they can track us!
OSOMATSU: Sorry, sorry, I got you, Chorofappyski!
CHOROMATSU: Stooooooopppp!
CHOROMATSU: LISTEN, we’re in the middle of a super important mission right now!
CHOROMATSU: The nouveau riche millionaire Dekapan and his wife Dayon that have the public talking about them…
CHOROMATSU: Use underground routes throughout the world to buy up stolen art pieces.
KARAMATSU: That’s where we come in. Heh, being NEETs is just what we look like in the public eye.
KARAMATSU: But in truth, I am able to get the heart of any woman… as the super cool Phantom Thief Blue!
ICHIMATSU: …Shut up, Shittymatsu. No, I mean, Brown.
KARAMATSU: Who are you calling shit-colored?! Brotherrrrrr!
CHOROMATSU: Oh, honestly! Are we really going to be okay?!
TODOMATSU: Ah, sorry~! I think I stepped on something. Is it a switch of some kind?
JYUSHIMATSU: It’s the alarm! The alarm! We’ve been found touch up!
CHOROMATSU: I was wondering where you’d disappeared to! What have you done, Todo… Do– Do– DoPink*!!
OSOMATSU: In that case, we’ll have to charge on through! Let’s go, guys!!
*”DoPink” means “Super deep pink color.”

STAGE 2:
OSOMATSU: Hey, Karamatsu… What are you doing, looking outside?
JYUSHIMATSU: Do you see an enemy?! Security?!
ICHIMATSU: …Yellow, leave him be. If you touch him, you’ll break your ribs.
KARAMATSU: Heh, I look cool… I look so cool…
KARAMATSU: I’m so cool that I could almost steal my own heart…
KARAMATSU: Oh, Sorry… I was gazing so much that even the moon was close to falling for me…
CHOROMATSU: Uwah… Uwaaah… I could go nuts just watching that guy…
TODOMATSU: Seriously, he’s so painful~. He’s not a narcissist anymore, he’s totally a psychopath…
ICHIMATSU: …In the worst-case scenario, if something happens, let’s hand him over to the cops and escape.

STAGE 3:
TODOMATSU: Honestly, you’re doing this all wrong~
TODOMATSU: Phantom thieves are supposed to be more sweet and elegant, like me, for instance…
ICHIMATSU: Sure, I don’t know if it’s sweet or not, but you do fight elegantly.
OSOMATSU: Seriously~ I never would have imagined that you’d throw an entire bag of stolen knives!
CHOROMATSU: Wait, what are you doing?! You shouldn’t be throwing them!!

STAGE 4:
TODOMATSU: Uwah, what’s with this vase?! It’s a cheap fake!
CHOROMATSU: How can you tell?
TODOMATSU: Look, it says 10 yen inside the bottom.
KARAMATSU: Heh… They’re rich but they’re stingy with everything that isn’t on display. What a bunch of cheapskates.

STAGE 5:
OSOMATSU: Guys, look at this! A custom-made Iyami mask for disguise!
CHOROMATSU: Hey, it’s pretty well made. But why Iyami?
OSOMATSU: No one would be surprised if they found out the thief was Iyami!
CHOROMATSU: (He was planning to lay all of the blame on Iyami…)

STAGE 6:
OSOMATSU: Uwah! Jyushimatsu is getting beaten up!
JYUSHIMATSU: Boeh! Boeh! Boeh! Boehbaa!
ICHIMATSU: Tch, wait for me, Yellow… Nyaaaaaaaaaaahhh!!
CHOROMATSU: I–Ichimatsu turned into a cat?!
OSOMATSU: He’s beating them up left and right!!
TODOMATSU: Not that I care, but there’s nothing “Phantom Thief”-like about this anymore, is there.

STAGE 7:
OSOMATSU: We’ve collected quite a lot of stolen goods. Hehe, what a profit… I mean, what a success!!
CHOROMATSU: Look, I found this huge painting!
CHOROMATSU: …Huh? My body feels kind of heavy…
KARAMATSU: W–Wait, Brother! Did a black shadow come out from that painting just now?
CHOROMATSU: Don’t be stupid! It’s normal for shadows to be black!
CHOROMATSU: Ahh, my body feels heavy. Maybe my shoulders got stiffened up because I haven’t done labor in a while~?
KARAMATSU: No… That painting is cursed… Never mind, I’ll be quiet…

STAGE 8:
TODOMATSU: Wouldn’t it have been better if we’d anonymously tipped the cops, rather than steal it back ourselves?
OSOMATSU: You’re after the reward? No way! Out of the question.
OSOMATSU: This is a philantrophic enterprise. An act of justice! M–Money is…
ICHIMATSU: If we’re gonna receive money, might as well get it all in large quantities… right?
OSOMATSU: Grkk!
CHOROMATSU: Ahh, I knew it~ The idea of us being chivalrous thieves is totally absurd~
OSOMATSU: S–So what?! They’re stolen goods anyway!! It’s they’re fault for being rich!
TODOMATSU: Ahh… You just said what you’re not allowed to say.

STAGE 9:
KARAMATSU: The security has gotten tighter…
TODOMATSU: Well, yeah, we made quite a mess up to this point.
OSOMATSU: A phantom thief runs when their identity is revealed, don’t they?
OSOMATSU: Why are we so earnest with fighting?!
ICHIMATSU: Since we don’t normally work, we gotta earn what we can with this chance…
CHOROMATSU: That’s seriously the thinking of low-class trash…

STAGE 10:
KARAMATSU: We’ve gotten quite a lot of rare stuff. More treasure appears to be sleeping up ahead.
JYUSHIMATSU: Treasure?! Treasure video?! I wanna watch the treasure video!
CHOROMATSU: It’s not that kind of treasure! What are you thinking dirty thoughts for?!
CHOROMATSU: …And what’s with your crotch?!
JYUSHIMATSU: ……Tatty!*
*”Tatty” means “hard on” but said in a fashionable way.

END:
ICHIMATSU: Damn it, the more we search, the more stolen goods we find…
KARAMATSU: Heh, the Phantom Thief business is still never-ending, huh.
OSOMATSU: Ehhh, but I got tired a long time ago~
TODOMATSU: Me too!! If we stay up even longer, it’ll make my skin break out~!!
CHOROMATSU: Why is it that every time we get to this point, you guys say something like that?!
JYUSHIMATSU: We’ve entered an extended game! And from there, a draw and re-battle!!
ICHIMATSU: …No, it’s almost dawn, so let’s go home. Ah, the birds are chirping…

[ENDED] Reporting for Work?! Pajamatsu-san

Held between May 11th to May 31st (ends at 15:00, Japan time).
Everyone has turned into a salaryman after drinking Professor Dekapan’s “Employment Drug.” But a side effect of the drug is that you lose your motivation and become a useless employee! The sextuplets think that even changing out of their clothes is a pain, so they arrive to work in pajamas!

Screenshot_2016-05-13-21-37-27

Every time you clear a stage, you receive an Empty Paycheck. Collect 1,000 Empty Paychecks to make one spin on the event gatcha. Send flying your bosses, who come at you with a bad temper for some reason, and bring back peace to the company! (Will it?!)
The event gatcha can still be spun after the event ends, until June 7th (ends at 15:00).

STAGE 1:
ICHIMATSU: “Ahh, I feel sluggish… I don’t want to do work…”
OSOMATSU: “Professor Dekapan’s Employment Drug finally put us into a job!! …But even so, it’s so much trouble.”
KARAMATSU: “Repeating the same thing every single day… What meaning is there to spending such useless days?”
CHOROMATSU: “What’s wrong with all of you?! If you don’t have any motivation even if you have a job, then you’re no different from a NEET!”
TODOMATSU: “Right~ To be honest, really, how can anyone expect us to suddenly work when we’ve been NEETs to the core?”
JYUSHIMATSU: “We got our priorities backwardsss! Like turning off the sunnn! Everything ahead is pitch black running homerun!”
OSOMATSU: “Ahh, what a pain~ Even changing into a suit is a pain~”
ICHIMATSU: “…Why not just go in pajamas?”
CHOROMATSU: “…Ah, this Employment Drug… It says on the back that if you take it, you’ll lose your motivation as a side effect…”
OSOMATSU: “Ahhh~ Are you serious~~ Then we’ll blame it all on the drug, it won’t be a problem…”
KARAMATSU: “Hey, brothers… How about we ditch work and take a walk through the office?”
OSOMATSU: “Ahh~ That’s a good idea coming from you, Karamatsu~ Let’s pretend like we’re working really hard and slack off on everything…”
CHOROMATSU: “What are you saying in your pajamas… But whatever, I don’t even have the energy to quip now…”

STAGE 2:
TODOMATSU: “This building is pretty big~”
ICHIMATSU: “Uh, I don’t think it’s a matter of how big it is…”

STAGE 3:
OSOMATSU: “I’ve been thinking. We’d probably be okay if we say that we’re lost, huh?”
ICHIMATSU: “What about our reason for coming to work in pajamas…?”
OSOMATSU: “Ahh~… Because we’re coming back from taking a nap? Or something?”

STAGE 4:
KARAMATSU: “Heh… I think we’ve gathered up a lot of coins by now…”
TODOMATSU: “Lucky~ We can earn our lunch money this way…”
JYUSHIMATSU: “Food is delicious! Thank you super big homerun!”
CHOROMATSU: “They’re saying the worst possible thing ever… But it’s too much trouble, so whatever…”

STAGE 5:
CHOROMATSU: “Ughh, I can’t… I’m so sluggish that I can’t even bother to walk anymore…”
OSOMATSU: “Is it just me, or is Chorofappyski even less motivated than usual…”
CHOROMATSU: “Ahh, yeah… I don’t care.”
TODOMATSU: “This is bad… Osomatsu-niisan. He won’t even talk back. Just how unmotivated is he…?”
CHOROMATSU: “Siiigh… Being alive is such a pain. Breathing is also too much of a pain… but so is dying…”
ICHIMATSU: “This is bad… He’s getting even darker than I am…”

STAGE 6:
TODOMATSU: “Come to think of it, what does this company do anyway?”
OSOMATSU: “They glare at meaningless files, or have conversations on the phone with customer complaints, or stand guard to watch water dripping…”
KARAMATSU: “Oh… How black…”

STAGE 7:
TODOMATSU: “All of the employees here have a crazy look in their eyes…”
JYUSHIMATSU: “Like Ichimatsu-niisan?!”
OSOMATSU: “Like the eyes of a rotting, dead fish, right? See, being a NEET is better than being a corporate slave…”
ICHIMATSU: “You jerks…”

STAGE 8:
KARAMATSU: “Phew… I’m Very Tired… We’ve walked quite a bit…”
TODOMATSU: “My legs are pinching… Let’s go home already…”
ICHIMATSU: “No, wait… How do we get back home…?”
OSOMATSU: “Are we… lost…?”

STAGE 9:
ICHIMATSU: “…I’m sleepy… Let’s just go into one of these rooms and sleep…”
TODOMATSU: “I agree~ I can’t move a single step more…”
OSOMATSU: “Hey, pull yourselves together…! If you want to be a first-class NEET, you take your resting at home…”
CHOROMATSU: “We’re not supposed to, you know… We are employed at this place… Well, whatever.”

STAGE 10:
JYUSHIMATSU: “Hey, Ichimatsu-niisan! Is “overtime” (zangyo*) a shallow water fish or a saltwater fish?”
ICHIMATSU: (Another pain-in-the-ass subject…)
TODOMATSU: “I think it’s a deepwater fish, Jyushimatsu-niisan… There’s nothing but darkness ahead there too…”
JYUSHIMATSU: “I see! The path ahead is pitch black running homerun!”
CHOROMATSU: “I just noticed now, but, is the drug even working on Jyushimatsu…?”
*Jyushimatsu thinks that “zangyo” is a kind of fish because it ends with “gyo” (fish).

END:
KARAMATSU: “Hey, it looks like the exit is up ahead. Heh, with this, we can escape…”
TODOMATSU: “Don’t call it an escape, at least call it getting out of work for the day~!”
OSOMATSU: “Eh, we’re not employed here anymore! I just gave in everyone’s letter of resignation.”
CHOROMATSU: “Haaaaaaaaah?! What did you do?! What the hell did you do that for?!”
OSOMATSU: “I thought it would be for the best… I mean, the Employment Drug is wearing off anyway.”
CHOROMATSU: “What the hell kind of farce is this?!”

[ENDED] Matsuno Quest ~Heaven and Earth and Love and Youth and Acclaim and Recollection and the Chosen NEETS~

Held between April 18 to May 10th (ends at 15:00, Japan time).
The NEETs are suddenly pulled into an online game world to become charismatic legends. Defeat Demon King Flag to bring back peace to this world!

Screenshot_2016-04-18-20-58-27[1]

Collect Large Medals after clearing a stage. 1,000 Large Medals equal one spin on the event gatcha.
The event gatcha can still be spun after the event ends, until May 17th (ends at 15:00).

STAGE 1:
CHOROMATSU: “Eh– wha– Wait. What’s this? What’s going on here?! Where are we?!”
CHOROMATSU: “It’s so sudden that I have no idea what’s going on?!”
ICHIMATSU: “You don’t know? …Since we had nothing else to do these days, we got into playing an online game and got obsessed with it… And here we are.”
CHOROMATSU: “Oh, I see… NOT!”
CHOROMATSU: “This doesn’t make sense! There’s no connections to link that to this?!”
TODOMATSU: “Oh, honestly, I hate committing acts of violence~ Fappymatsu Sage-niisan, do my part for me too, won’t you?”
JYUSHIMATSU: “Ahahahahahahahaha! Am I a gambler?! What does a gambler do?!”
JYUSHIMATSU: “Baseball?! Do I play baseball?! Nice Ball! Thank you super giant home run!!”
CHOROMATSU: “Oh geez… We haven’t even started yet, but with guys like you, I’m worried already.”
KARAMATSU: “Hey, Sage Brother. You appear to be in a fix.”
KARAMATSU: “Don’t you worry… No matter what enemy comes your way, I will be sure to protect yo–”
OSOMATSU: “Anyway, for the time being, we just have to beat all the guys that approach us, right?”
OSOMATSU: “I’ll make sure to collect all of the treasure!”
TODOMATSU: “I bet there’s tons of gold! With this, we’ll be rich quick! We’ll be multimillionaires!”
CHOROMATSU: “I like the sound of that! Now I’m worked up for this!”
JYUSHIMATSU: “Then let’s play ball!!”
ICHIMATSU: “Ah, I’m just following you guys for now…”
KARAMATSU: “Heh, what a shy group…”

STAGE 2:
OSOMATSU: “It’s surprisingly dull work, this… I thought we were gonna get rich quick.”
TODOMATSU: “Choromatsu-niisan is better at this kind of thing, isn’t he?”
CHOROMATSU: “Just to be clear, I’M all about RMT and I only thought about earning money systematically. I’m different from the rest of you, okay?”
TODOMATSU: “Wahhh, there it is, his Rising…! The things he does is so sly…”
OSOMATSU: “Seriously, he’s so Rising. Even within a group of lazy, good-for-nothing NEETs, he’s a low-life with only a high sense of consciousness.
TODOMATSU: “Do you even know what RMT means, Rising Self-consciousness-niisan?”
OSOMATSU: “You need to seriously get a grip about that, Risingfappyski.”
CHOROMATSU: “Shut up with the Rising, Rising! You’re the last people that I want to be told that from!”

STAGE 3:
TODOMATSU: “Waaah! The monsters are so scary! I knew I shouldn’t have started playing online games.”
ICHIMATSU: “…You purposefully chose a female character to make us support you… What are you saying now…”
CHOROMATSU: “You’re totally getting your just desserts! And who wants to see Totty having an online persona of the opposite sex anyway?!”

STAGE 4:
JYUSHIMATSU: “Go fly, monsters! Full swing! Full swing!”
OSOMATSU: “That Jyushimatsu… he’s amazing. I’m starting to feel sorry for the monsters…”

STAGE 5:
OSOMATSU: “I get the feeling that we’ve leveled up quite a lot!”
TODOMATSU: “It’s just a feeling though.”

STAGE 6:
CHOROMATSU: “By the way, how do we get back to our world?”
OSOMATSU: “The goal in any RPG is to take down the demon king, isn’t it?”
CHOROMATSU: “There’s a demon king here?! And that’s a rather simplistic end, isn’t it?! Are you sure this is okay?!”

STAGE 7:
KARAMATSU: “Dear, dear… Fate whispers in my ear, telling me that danger lies ahead… Even my fists are shaking.”
OSOMATSU: “Huh? What the hell are you talking about? Ichimatsu, translate.”
ICHIMATSU: “Eh? …He’s telling us that his legs are tired so we should take a break, isn’t he…? Why are you asking me anyway?”
CHOROMATSU: “How are you able to decipher him, Ichimatsu?!”

STAGE 8:
JYUSHIMATSU: “Boeh! For the coins, thank you super giant home run!!”
CHOROMATSU: “Enough with the baseball references, all right?! Please!”
TODOMATSU: “Well, he’s beating the enemy, so it shouldn’t be a problem, right?”

STAGE 9:
OSOMATSU: “Man, I’m tired~ In fact, I’m bored of this now! Let’s go home.”
CHOROMATSU: “How can you say that when we’ve already made it this far?”
OSOMATSU: “But even though we’re in a fantasy world, there aren’t any sexy elves here!”
CHOROMATSU: “Saying that is dangerous, so stop it!”

STAGE 10:
TODOMATSU: “After all that was said and done, we went in pretty deep.”
KARAMATSU: “Heh, it’s getting to be about that time for me to make my full performance, don’t you think? While I’m distracting the enemy’s attention, the rest of y–”
TODOMATSU: “Wow, you’re so reliable! You go ahead and handle the rest, okay, Karamatsu-niisan?”
KARAMATSU: “Eh…”

END:
TODOMATSU: “There isn’t going to be a second or a third demon king after this, is there?”
OSOMATSU: “Oh, you mean when someone says “He was the weakest among the demon kings!” and it typically keeps on going and going?”
CHOROMATSU: “You’re not even bothering to restrain yourself from making meta statements anymore! You’re merciless!”
CHOROMATSU: “Fine, at this point, why not keep gathering big medals until you’ve gotten all of the characters?!”
ICHIMATSU: “Ah… He got defiant…”

(ENDED) 1 Million Downloads Commemoration

tumblr_inline_o4twdzpipM1qgcmu7_500

[ENDED] 1 Million Downloads Commemoration: Take some diamonds in commemoration of the day you lived independently, NEETs.

Held between March 29 to April 4th (ends at 15:00, Japan time). When you play the Special stage, you will (1) get 10 diamonds after clearing a stage for the first time, and (2) get 6 pines every time. It doesn’t matter which stage you play in Special, you will always get 6 pines.

The number of pines you get as a whole adds to all players’ collective number. At the end of the event, whatever that number is will determine how many free diamonds will be rewarded to all players. You can check how many pines have been collected so far by clicking on the link that is in the announcements. The max number of pines that we can get is 66,666,666 pines, which will earn us 100 diamonds.

This event also comes with limited edition versions of the sextuplets from episode 24, which you can only get from the premium gatcha. These gatcha editions are only available until April 4th. You can use the diamonds given to you, but beware that the premium gatcha still contains the other versions. The rate you can get these limited edition gatcha is not made better. If you run out of diamonds, you will need to purchase them.

(ENDED) White Day event

tumblr_inline_o3lmyaaYGw1qgcmu7_500

[ENDED] White Day event: Even though the sextuplets didn’t get anything from Totoko-chan for Valentine’s Day, they’re giving her a return gift for White Day!

Held between March 4th to March 22nd (ends at 15:00, Japan time). You can spin the event gatcha until March 28th (ends at 15:00, Japan time).

Totoko: “Please, stay away! I don’t want to create irreversible false truths!”

When you play one stage, you will receive candies along with coins. The number in pink indicates your number of candies. (Candies, or “ame” in Japanese, are short here for “arigatou, merci.”)

tumblr_inline_o4ttbj2TG21qgcmu7_500

When you have 2,000 candies, you can try your hand at one spin at the event gatcha. Be warned though, that the event gatcha also contains Normal cards, so you will not be getting the Event cards easily.

I recommend that when you’ve cleared the 10th stage, to keep replaying the 10th stage to get the most number of candies/coins. Be patient and good luck!

DATA TRANSFER

You can data transfer your current data to another device, but there are first some conditions you need to know before agreeing.
● Your user ID and password will not be reissued once you receive them. The staff will also not answer you if you ask for this info via email, so be sure to keep your user ID and password information safe. I recommend that you take a screenshot.
● Do not tell your user ID and password to someone else.
● Once you have transferred your data over, you cannot do this again until after a period of 30 days.
● Make sure to data transfer when you have a strong internet connection.
● The staff recommends that you data transfer fresh, immediately after you have installed the game app to your new device. If you play first on your new device, then data transfer, the data that you had when you got your password will be overwritten and your data transfer info will be lost.
● If your new device is a different OS from your previous one, you will not be able to transfer the diamonds you possess over. It is recommended that you convert diamonds to coins before grabbing your password.
● You will be able to transfer diamonds between two devices that are the same OS.
● You will not be able to transfer over enemy character data that has been unlocked. These will be unlocked once you play the stages and encounter them again.

tumblr_inline_o4twibqOXS1qgcmu7_500

To enter data transfer options, click on the blue button that is on the Start menu. If you understand the above conditions, click YES (はい) and it will take you to the following two choices.

tumblr_inline_o4twmfKN841qgcmu7_500

The top button is where you will initiate asking for a password to be issued to you. Make sure to take a screenshot. I highly recommend that you don’t touch this button unless you are really planning to data transfer at that moment.

The bottom button is what you will access on your new device, to input your ID number and your password. Make sure that the information you put in is correct before clicking YES. If it is correct, the data will be transferred.

The official twitter is @osomatsu_hkw which you can follow for updates on maintenance/events/etc. The game is only meant for Japan though, so if you have a support issue, you would need a Japanese translator to contact them.

I can be reached at my ask blog for quicker answers in regards to new updates.

Suggested method of attack:
So far, the best way to attack is if you have Hijirisawa Shounosuke. He does not have a long “wait period” to attack in comparison to other characters, and after raising his level higher than level 10, he can knock out most enemies with a single hit. You can advance fairly certainly with him.

Otherwise, level up your characters. Higher levels do make a difference in attack power.

Osomatsu should be brought out initially and as many times as you can (reminds you of a cockroach, doesn’t it…), but he is defeated easily and he also ambles, so I would only use him for the opening of the battle. Karamatsu is good as a meat shield, so you can bring him out to defend against enemies. However, he gets beaten pretty easily, and he also ambles too. He’s not a great defense against Iyami or Totoko.

Choromatsu and Jyushimatsu are very quick on their feet. If I’m not using them (at least Choro) at the opening of the battle, I like to use them after my team has made some distance, because they will move very fast to the enemy and keep attacking them until they die. This helps to push the group along fast, in comparison to the rest of the brothers.

Ichimatsu walks soooooo slooooooow, but he can attack enemies without them getting too close to him. I like to create a defense line with him, before summoning the other brothers for attack. Todomatsu will walk slow as well and stay in the middle; just a little bit ahead of Ichi but behind the rest of the brothers. Because of this position he’s in, a lot of those other brothers die instead of him. I like to use Todo as the first line of defense, with Ichi being the second line. I haven’t gotten to the point where I saw my Todo die from enemy hands, but apparently he dies easily.

If you lose, the game gives suggested hints to winning which, I’ve experienced so far, are all useless because they all direct you to use the gatcha and spend money. If you are unable to get rare characters, I recommend building up your Matsuno house’s strength and AP levels, then buy the items and use them to help give you an advantage.

————————————————————————————————————————————–

My score: 6/10.
If you’ve played にゃんこ大戦争 app, this Osomatsu-san game is exactly the same, so it isn’t inspired. I also don’t like that you are forced to pay real money in order to make any progress. The odds of getting a rare character are not very high. I even think that にゃんこ大戦争 is more fun than this game.
To be honest, I only like this game for the new art and the quirky character descriptions. But, since I don’t want to end on a negative note, hopefully it’s fun for you! It’s a very simple game once you build up your levels.

  1. I would like to start a new game, but every time I try to clear the app data, it still has my old game data saved. How do I start a new game?
